niceee. Windshields been replaced if you didn't know, but don't use the rear defrost. Unplug it. They explode. But unplug the rear window itself and the heated mirrors will still work.

Ya I noticed on the windshield, that's ok. And ya I just read yesterday about the rear defrost, I'd be pissed! Already told the wife about it. Thanks man!

Eeek. I just looked that defrost issue up. That should be a recall.

there's no recall or anything. If it breaks after the 36,000 mile bumper to bumper it's on you to fix it

that's bs. it's an issue caused by ford, they should be liable.

like the driver cylinder head issue with Chryslers 3.6L Pentastar built from 11 to early 13, there was an issue where the middle cylinder would have the valve guides overheat & seize or stick the valves causing a misfire because the manifold is integral to the cylinder head. except Chrysler took it to themselves and are willing to replace them for free, and already have done so with probably like 10,000 or more affected vehicles. I think the issue was caused by either too thin of a casting in that area or something along those lines, but the revised casting fixes the problem.

I buy this yellow de-icer stuff that you spray on and instantly melts it. One pass with the wipers and you're good to go.

Aye ive been lookin for ya. I saw an old thread about EGR's and did you delete yours?

And would you or anyone else recomend deleteing the EGR, i have a programmer to make up for that in the computer, but ive been chasing a P0174 code for quite some time, and my truck vibrates at idle i dont have a spark misfire that i know of but when idlein in park i have like a pop sound coming thru the pipes but when in drive with my foot on the brake it runs more evenly and theres no pop, the scan tool at the shop said all my spark plugs an o2 sensors are working correctly i dont have cats at all any due to one of my precats knocking, i used to be running only precats back into a Y pipe at the rear axle no muffler or big cats but i had this problem then too, changed the intake manifold gaskets 3 times thanks to BS gaskets from advanced that caused a coolant leak, ford gaskets solved that. New pcv valve an hose tree. Im stumped at this point i want to try new injectors but i dont have the money to spend on that due to needing tires soon
