Have to say tho. Don't see too many pics with efans and a factory intake in the same shot lol.

Lol they have been working for a while now I just haven't got around to rerouting the wires and yeah seems like most everyone that does them has either a lightning swap or a CAI

Right, at least a 3" tube of some kind...bent in the middle lol.

Lol is there any after Market CAI that flows better than stock? I know there is some sealed models that take in air from the fender but I was alway under the impression the stock one with gotts mod is about the best

I used a 180 thermostat for cold weather still, run the 4lb. Lower, coolant is the same as your truck, and I had my knock sensor turned off in the tune.

That's only half right. The factory unit should be swapped out. It's probably the most lumpy turbulent intake made. That's not good at all lol. You want smooth flow, smooth and cool for the summer months. With most, I think that's the first thing that goes in the trash. For good reason IMO.

I like my Volant tube. It's a composite tube, sanded and buffed to mirror finish inside. The way they should be factory. TB should be smooth, -

I'll have to look into one of those tubes. Looks like you have an aftermarket maf too. Or is that the stock one with a different housing?

That's a 3" Fernco connecting up to the MAF. Plumbing section at Home Depot. At the Gotts mod end, I used a regular 3" intake boot. They are a little thinner and more flexible. I believe it called a intake adapter and I either found it at Auto Zone or Oriely's.

For the end piece through the fender, it's a piece or 3" irrigation septic pipe..Not scheduled 40...too thick, too much sanding for the outside taper. Yea that's right, I even tapered the pipes cut off end lol.

Did I forget anything?
