I thought about turning my pats system off,but I have a push button so literally anyone could take my truck without a key or even the hard work of hot wiring,I'm gonna keep my anti theft lol.

So my friend is turboing his 2012 VW golf with the 2.5 I5 engine. Yesterday we were at the junk yard and pulled an old td04hl turbo off a late 90s volvo for his project. He's gonna rebuild it (shaft still has 0 play) and do a 19t conversation and then he is pretty much done with the turbo swap other than the tune. He only paid 100 for the turbo and waste gate yesterday at pick and pull and only has about a grand in the whole project and it got me thinking. I know IDB is doing a TT set up, but it got me thinking. How hard and how much money would it take to do a single or TT set up on our trucks. I know it cost about 2 grand or less to do a lightning swap, do yall think a turbo can be done for cheaper than that?

I want to TT my truck eventually as well.. One turbo per manifold. But that's far down the line. Years.

The single turbo off a 7.3 powerstroke. It was considerably bigger than a Volvo turbo lol
