I really want to go with the Monster Box top rated stage 3 trans.
But..
It's only rated 600hp/550tq
And 6500 gvw

While loaded up and with the L swap and bolt-ons, I will surpass both those ratings and void their warranty.
Only comes with a 30day warranty and a whopping 90 day one of you purchase their torque convertor.

However, after reading reviews, one owner broke two of their trans and is on the third free of charge he was also at 800 rwhp and they covered his warranty work no questions asked. I similar situation where a customer bought their trans with no warranty and too much hp for rating . Again they replaced it free of charge

Customer services seems top notch but the assembly from Jasper (using their components) seems questionable

I'm going with one of his valve bodies when I buy and rebuild a used 4r70w. Serious motor, frame, and trans work is the only thing I haven't done yet . But I've watched y'all build and I have a desire to learn. I research everything I do. I'm only 19 right now so I'm a young gun compared to y'all

But back to what you said, that warranty is pretty pitiful, but them actually making them stronger as people grenade them is a good sign of customer service

Monster is near me. I would trust Darin is his stuff seems to be pretty stout. I have a friend who blew up a monster stag 3 4r70 with 4200 lbs and around 500 ft lbs.

Step it up boys. Throw a built 4r100. Not hard to make them handle massive torque.

I picked mine up for 500 and installed everything myself for the build for under a 1000. That's including valve body, planets, drums, pump, output shaft, and input.

I would love to do a 4r1000 swap but I only have around 1500$ right now, and I'm still saving, I never saw where you finished the entire notes of the 4r100 swap though

Ya the lower rated ones have higher warranty. I may give their rep an email.

Did they cover it? I know they do not build the ready transmission. They make they own components, then send it to Jasper for assembly and shipment

Not thanks on the 4R100. Too much work and money when I could have a built and installed 4r70w for 2K. Not the ****ty ebay builders either

I'm looking at possibly doing a 4v swap in the future and are thinking of giving it a set of cams . Stock duration at .050 is intake/exhaust 172° Lobe 178° /186° Valve 194. And gross lift is at .392" /.390. And the cam I am looking at is a truck/low rpm cam duration at .050 intake/exhaust 176° Lobe 182° /192° Valve 198°
And gross lift is .421" .427. Would this be a good cam for a truck?

Ehh depends on the LCA. Sounds like a mid rpm cam. I have a 2v but my cam is completely different an makes peak tq at @2600 with a really loose converter.
