I thought I single walbro would suffice vs the standard lightning twins. Maybe I'm lost. This swap info combined with school and work info is jumbling my brain

MyFX4Project is running 24# injectors so he doesn't need as much fuel. I'm not sure what the flow rate is on the stock L twins, but I'd bet it's higher than 342 combined.

You'll have to check around. I got lucky and found a used pair with hat & harness for $100. I'm really not sure what they are new. I bet fordmotorsports knows

I made my own little kit.

The twin lightning pumps put out 310 total. They are 155lph, so the dual setup can handle more hp than the single walbro.

Unless your going 400hp+ the stock l pumps will be fine.

The connector on the walbros are different than our stock pump. The stock l pumps have the same fitting as the walbros so they plug in fine.

Also if you use the lighting hat, the connector won't fit your wiring harness. It's pretty simple to splice together though, or you can order a connector and do it that route.

The lighting has 6 wires that go to the connector, our trucks only have a 4 pin. 2 wires for the level sender and the others for power and ground to pumps.

So would jferg92 be ok running a single 342 and use his existing hat?

It's kinda hard to guesstimate or use math because most are rating pumps at 70 psi which is never good. You wanna look at around 40-45 psi. Also depends on your regulator

Too much fuel and you will max out the return. Two 255's would def be pushing it on stock fuel system. I would suggest the stock pumps or a set of equivalent aftermarket ones. Is he going with a ported charger ?
