Did a recent list, I am $1430 in my swap. Everything is almost collected-all substantial items are now purchased. Minus little odds and ends now

I dont want to have to change balancers, so I better go with the hub type.

hmm..I was wondering about that. I have a solid jlp 4# so it won't bolt to my stock balancer?

Yes it should. Crawl under there & put it up to it.

If it has the 3 bolt hub it will. The caged lowers use a spindle that screws into the balancer. I don't think any of our balancer are threaded.

jferg92 the caged unit attaches to the factory pulley with an adapter that has a Ford p/n. The solid unit simply replaces the adapter.

The pro to a caged pulley is it eliminates extra stress on the crank from the s/C belt. In high hp applications a caged setup is desirable, but for what you and I are doing, a solid is acceptable. Btw, I have a caged JDM setup for mine. Thanks to you for looking out for me on the eBay find.
