I have 2 questions for you engine guys:

1. What supercharger should I get? I've read around and most people say to do a lightning swap. I have a 5.4 03 screw. If this is the case, how much should I expect to spend in doing the whole swap?

2. What do I have to do to my engine to make it so I can run more than 5 - 8 psi?

3. Are there any other engine upgrades I can do that are actually worth the time/money?

Ok that was 3 questions.

Found a complete lightning motor with aftermarket pullies, longtubes, and a tune. Motor has 88k on it and he's asking 4,000. What do you guys think about that

What year? Keep in mind youll be missing a lot. you'll need an IC pump, wiring, heat exchanger and bracket, hoses for this system, fuel pumps, gauges, custom tuning, upper rad hose and more. Also you'll make less hp than a swap. 8.5 vs 9.0 CR
I wouldn't pay more that $2000

it's an 02 he claims it's complete plug and play. The air box is off but he said it still comes with it. I'm not ready for the swap I just saw it on craigslist to get a rough estimate for the future job.

You asked your question in the perfect place. It's not you, - these guys just like talking about their own stuff. That's why you were basically told to go somewhere else. Just begin a new thread all together, that's your best bet.

Yes, I will stick by my $2000 offer. Maybeeee $2500 if he let you pull everything I mentioned above. The tune you mentioned means nothing in a swap scenario

I paid alot less for alot more. I guess its the benefit of the friend price. Still havent had the chance to go pull parts or pick them up. Work and moving have kept me busy.
