I have cut mine, torched them, etc... They aren't coming out without some type of hydraulic means.

I have had them out before, but my truck has been sitting in the same sport since March.

Can you get a press on while the LCA is still under the truck?

Never had to, - would a porta power work ? Might not if you can't get it in the right position.

Carcrazy, aren't the 7700's different, non adjustable or something. Not sure if that makes any difference with removal.

Then pick up a set of used one from the junkyard. Throw some new bushing and ball joints in them and coat them in por 15 or something that nature. I coated mine and used a teflon based marine grease to keep the TB's from freezing in the lowers ever again.

Nope they are exactly the same. Only difference is the diameter of the bar.

I tried using a 3 ton hydraulic (pump) jack but it was hard to position it and the swivel on the end kept twisting.

I may get a used OEM set of Lower control arms. Sand blast, then prime and paint them, and install new bushings.

The 7700 bars quite a bit thicker. The 55.25" length clears the tranny perfect though, fits the 2nd set of holes in the frame exactly where the 7700's have them mounted..

I would say all this extra stuff I have installed has added at least 500 lbs to the truck. Its gonna be pretty heavy.

At this point, his suggestion about getting used ones sounds about the best. I'm glad you get to be the guinea pig for us
