Just knowing I have someone as knowledgeable as you to turn to for assistance has the effect of "liquid" courage on my build plans. So, in essence, your not as innocent as you claim to be.

After contemplating an air to air cooler, I decided to do only liquid: air to water.

Factory 10 row lighting cooler, afco dual pass heat exchanger, two 9x9x3.5" liquid to air coolers for the cold side (inlet is 2.5") .

The pressure drop in a liquid to water is way less than 2%, whereas the pressure drop in an air to air system can vary up to 2-3psi.

I need that power down low, so drop at 10psi is critical.

Charlie are you talking about the ball joints? Haha I have my factory ones still on there from 2003.

Boost wont be critical it will be CFM. Ive seen lower boost number put up ore torque because the temperature delta different bewteen boost levels.

Can't believe they've lasted that long! Both my f150s turned into squeak demons at about10 years old.

The region I live in, I will never see cool air temps with an A/A under 45mph.
So I think my best numbers will be with liquid cooled.
