So..seeing two people have issues, the thermostats can be tricky. A switch probably is best for now and keep an eye on those temps running it the first couple times. The factory temp gauge isn't the most accurate
Are you talking about an E fan for the radiator? I still have the trusty mechanical one lol

But yeah factory gauge is aweful. Truck could be 160 or 210 and the needle is still in the middle lol. I really want one of those aeroforce interceptor gauges so i dont have to have my SCT plugged in. But the dilemma behind that is there is nowhere else to put gauges lol.

2000mtz used taurus/windstar cooling fans. I did his write up to a T and had the same issue. Its probably a matter of the fans and the fact theres not a shroud for them although he put weather stripping along the outside of it.

Yeah it's crazy how much a fan shroud can make or break you. The L shroud i got helps cut down temps more, but still only a band-aid. The NA one is useless since it has to be hacked up like Frankenstein just to fit in my application.

As for gauges, you just need a setup like rus

lmao, yeah that efan setup looks wimpy. I'd be totally sketch running my primary radiator fan on a switch. If a friend drives it then they will have to get a lecture on which buttons and ***** to push lol. Im sure at some point it would be forgotten to be turned on.

The gauge pods look sweet

.....your pic said failed connection but makes sense now. Efans for your fact heat exchanger. I really hoped you weren't replacing your clutch fan with efans.

Yeah, but now you have to wait a week before you can transfer it back into your bank acct. Only bad thing about PayPal. Guess you'll need me to get those pics today.
