Personally, I'd run the Longer Pacesetter headers or Kooks (Modified/cut/turned) with 350 hp plus.

The 3" Single in/Single out Borla XR series is PERFECT!
I believe the Borla XS is more quiet. That is what i run. My exhaust setup is already ridiculously loud when i get half way on the throttle. I would think XR's would be way loud with longtubes. I'm sure it'd scream tho.

But i have heard nothing but bad things about pace setters, they rust and dont even come with flanges, so you gotta weld up an exhaust. Defeats the purpose of bolt on mods IMO.

But anyways, im totally with you on the Borla! Finally got to cruise around in my truck today for the first time in months. Loving the longtubes.

I'm running pacesetters. Installed all new exhaust with the new engine. Had the exhaust shop make a slip joint to slide over the header flange and then weld 2 tabs(one on the header flange, other on exhaust side) with a hole drilled through them so I can slide a bolt through and tighten. Gives you a snug fit while keeping the flexibility of removing the headers. As far as rust, I live in N. Fl so I'm not worried about it. No salt rusting issues down here. had them on for 2 1/2 years with only minor surface rust.

Finally getting to drive the truck again - YouTube
HEY , - I think you have a whine under that hood ??

Since that be the case, -any muffler would sound good on that truck. Perhaps a dual out would tame it a bit.
