Electrical issues
Just got my truck (2002 f150 5.4) back 2 weeks ago from getting new ball joints new intake manifold all new plugs and a couple new coil packs. Drove great for 200 miles or so. Service engine light came on (haven't run the codes yet) get in it it just a little while ago and the AC module above the passenger floorboard was making noise and my truck wouldn't crank so I jumped it off and drove it around a while and I get out and get back in and the 4x4 light starts flashing in drive along with a noise clicking from behind the dash. Also my windows rolling down would stop every inch or so harshly like they were shorting out. A truck I looked at but didn't end up buying the owner said his windshield was leaking into the 4x4 motor causing his to engage and disengage while driving but mine is not engaging just clicking any ideas out there? Kinda sad I've put a lot of money in it this year and am tapped out for money right now.
Well if your shop left your hood open and it rained. It could run down the firewall and make it's way in the cab. Theres a lengthy video on the old YouTube on hownto get to it. They're are a few guys that have dried them out and we're good as new. Some guys use hair dryer to get it dry. But I'd definitely try to find the source of the leak first. And a guy quoted me 300 to reseal the windshield. AND 800 if he broke it getting it out.

If your gonna take it all the way out clean any corosion and put it in a bag of rice. The blow dry trick works sometimes with it in the truck. And while it's drying look for a place that's allowing water in the cab
