i would check into the gryphon tuner that powerhungryperformance has its basically they same thing as the edge except if you want to later on you can get custom tunes for your truck if you put on a cai , exhaust stuff like that

I love mine! The only part that I hate about it is that in the 97-03 year, the transmission temperature is not an option. Obviously they added that in the 04 and up years I believe, but the Edge does not have that option for the 97-03. You can custom tune it if you want to, I have not done that. On the towing and performance one, can definately feel the differece. I do have the CAI and true duals on top of that, so I'm sure that helps...definately worth the money though

im getting a tuner after xmas, and also a CAI to go with my exhaust.
im stuck between a SCT tuner and an edge evo
anyone wanna tell me which tuner to get and give me some legit reasons?
ive heard nothing but good things about the gryphon but it doesnt seem like u can customize too much as far as limiters and fan temp stuff. can u input stuff about a CAI or exhaust in there too?

oh and one more thing, on the PHP website, they have u fill out a form to mail in with all your truck's details (engine stuff and all). where can i go to find that info out like my compression ratio and header diameter and whatnot?
