Default Cold air intake

I recently purchased a Spectre Air filter and I feel like i noticed a good difference in power and now I'm interested in a cold air intake , also throttle body spacers I hear good and bad on those . Does anyone already have these? How are they performing ?

What's wrong with the factory cold air intake ?

TB spacers = no good, don't waste your time and change.

I'm not a fan of the cai on the regular f150s, but why do so many lightning guys install them and see gains?

Nothing wrong with the factory, but the Spectre was 40 bucks and it's guaranteed for life. Autozone said I can replace it any time if needed

TB spacers? Save your money. All you get is a stupid whining noise. 99% are smooth inside, which does nothing to create a wind vortex that is necessary to make any difference.

The factory CAI is almost as good as you can get, and once the Gott's mod is performed, you are actually better than most aftermarket CAI's. Keep it stock. Change the inner filter if you want, but leave the main unit together. Otherwise, you get under hood heat instead of ambient outside air. With a tuner and CAI, you can make fair to good power gains, but one is no good without the other though.
