Cold air intake

And Akdoggie , it's right where the stock air filter would go , the cold air intake is still completely stock

GO to the search section at the top and type in Gotts Mod. It's easier than trying to explain it clearly. It should be on a "cheap mods" sticky.

If your air filter sits where the former air filter housing did.... congratulations, you now have a HOT air intake. Your motor is pulling in hot air from the engine compartment rather than the fender well.... where your factory COLD air intake did.

Sorry man I don't understand ? Nothing changed with the housing of the air intake or anything , I just swapped the filter out and I'll be sure to look up the Gott's right now man

Yeah, I never said it was I was just asking about cold air intakes but mentioned the new filter also

It really is an easy mod. The sanding is the hardest part. Oh and check your gas pedal for slack in the wire. Some fishing weights or zip ties can give you back some lost throttle response.

CAI works very well on V6 but a waste of money on V8. Applying full open throttle on V8 is just lugging the engine and the kickdown shift feels very bad.
