*Cant Quit* build thread
I thought so, I went ahead and had it mounted lol, I've slowed down with the work on mine aswell.
Thanks...
Same here haha
Pretty slow, but this is what Ive done
I like when it gets bumped, makes me want to do things to it.
Thanks man that's a pretty awesome compliment, I'll keep it up for y'all
Well guys not much stuff done. I also quit my job 2 weeks ago, figured this was the best way to better myself and make more money, so it might slow up for a few months. I've decided to take the summer off for some family time and vacations.
With that said, I have done a few small things here and there.
I got most all the brake hard ware in now, only thing needed would be the masters and pedal assembly, here's the calipers I have 4- 4 piston aluminum superlites and also have 3- 6 piston aluminum superlites

Haven't exactly figured how they'll be used, pretty sure I'm using the 6 pistons on the rear disc set-up and the pinion brakes along with the front. I got the brackets cut for the rear disc set-up

The brackets bolted on

And the other side, I'm pretty excited with how it's going to work out. We'll see

I also got an oil cooler, and a few other things... Sorry not so much guys but I'll have more pretty soon...
Thanks...

Thanks man, it should be, I've planned the build for 10years with small changes, like what motor to use. Coilovers and rockwells have always been set in stone.
Not the best, I've put it on the back burner, got tired of working on it honestly. Been doing a lot to the Harley.
Sorry man lol, I told someone I'd bump it up, so I'll post the bolt that I screwed into the truck... That's all I feel like I've done in 6 months haha
I've started putting it back together, to do inventory and find all the parts. I'm needing to get some measurements so getting the fenders back on. I'm needing to be able to use the wheel wells.

Front clip back on.

Another shot, of corse there's going to be bracing when I get around to it.

Started throwing the interior back in it.

Need to get some 99-03 doors for the '00 Harley panels to work.

Flip delete with lexan, I'm thinking about getting 2 more surrounds so I can get tinted lexan and it won't be clear. But this will work for now.

Bed delete, just need a bed liner and I'll make some bracing to hold the bed sides up. Also going to gut the tailgate, and make it a shell. But if anyone has a tailgate net they want to donate I'll pay shipping ;-) lol

Doing away with the front core support, getting weight off the front end where it's needed most. Plus it will let me strip down the front end in less than 30 minutes if I need to work on the motor, or if its needing to be yanked, I won't have to take the truck off the 53's to use a cherry picker.

SS mirrors to save 4lbs, everything adds up. Old hot rodders saying, don't find something that weighs 100lbs, find 100 things that weigh 1lb.

I'm planning to run my windshield washer tanks like this, one in each corner. One will go to the stock pissers and the other will be run on some that mount on the wipers themselves like on Lincoln's or GM cars, but I trully don't want to use, not 1 Goverment Motors product on this build, out of spit.
So I'll have 4 nozzles to hopefully keep the windshield clean in the pits.

Close up shot of the tank placement, also how I'll run the splash guards to help keep mud and water off the motor.

Here the front clip I'm actually going to run, it's just if one gets scratched or broken I'd rather it be the stock one.
