Should be able to. Keep the car over the trailer axles and not too much on the rear of the truck load. I assume a mid size car is 3000-3500 lbs ish which shouldn't be a big deal for the 4.6. You'll have to be conscious it's back there, but no big issues. Congrats on using your truck as a truck.

Pull what??? Im assuming your talking about a double axle trailer..

As long as you got a tow hitch on your truck you should be fine.. I wouldnt try it on a bumper hitch though..

I recently pulled a 1999 Blazer on a dolly over 250 miles and almost forgot it was back there I had cruise control on @ 75 most of the way.. Just start off slow for the first part of the trip to make sure theres no problems and dont drive any faster than whats safe.. And remember to brake sooner than normal... Im sure a trailer with a medium sized car will be no problem at all even for the 4.6

I pull a 5000 lb RV with my 4.6L, no tow package, I do use an equalizer hitch. Pulls it up and down the west coast no issues..

Anything under 6k lb with any of the three engines with an auto is doable. If you have a standard, 3500 is the max you want to go without a aftermarket clutch specifically built for towing since the transmission itself will actually hold 12k lb.

I pull around a 24' 14000 lb rated utility (empty of course) when my dad needs it moved from one pasture to the next. Does alright with a OE clutch going up and down a 8% without brakes...
