Default baggin !

hey guys i have a few questions about bagging? is it worth bagging? i was told by a few people bags pop all the time is this true? and if i didt spend atleast 2k on just bags its not worth doing? i have done a lil research and was reading on bagging forums these guys building kits for around 1000? how much does it cost to install? could i do it myslef?.. now here is my thing i love my truck height now i like riding high but when its parked i want it sitting on the ground or close to it so there for a lowering kit is not for me. this is my daily driver! thanks for any help

Do lots and lots of research. The kits may be $1K. but thats usually not including bags, air management and such. You could do it on your own if you have the general knowledge/skills of what you need to do. If ya have someone install it for you, then you risk them doing a hack job, and it taking forever. Remember, you get what you pay for. ANd suspension wise, i wouldnt opt for cheap.

Depending on your application, you could be looking at around $2-3k for a complete kit, meaning every part to go from springs to bags. The only way you're going to pop a bag is if you **** off your lady and she gets slash happy. Just know that you aren't getting very close to the ground unless you c-notch the frame and cut the bed to accommodate the C-notch.

agreed..also remember that when bagging your truck need to consider what type of line you are going to run?size of line, size of vales, also what type of rim and size of rim you are running. I am bagging my lightinig and in order to lay frame on 26"s i need to narrow the rear end..

Now you could do it yourself but if you have never owened or use a bagged truck its best if you reserch and ask around. many things go into bagging a Ford, lol..good luck man

a custom shop will cost some money. depends on where you go. I got a few prices for my truck to get it done by the pros, it was around 8gs' but this was also to do the back half all the baggs, lines compressors, notch and narrowing the rearenad to lay frame on 26's
