Default Back up lights?

who has them, and how do you keep them from being smashed when you are offroad, that is my only concern with them.

what is the best way to wire them up also?

I would wire them on a switch if it were mine. Don't you have a light bar. Mount one backwards pointing down. Then its waaayy off the ground.

Just mount the lights upside down, then you will have some more room for them.

if you want it to come on when you are in reverse, get a relay that is normally open and hook it to the reverse lights.

from what I have found, I should be able to hook it up to the reverse light relay that is already existing, as long as the lights do not draw more than 50 ish watts.

well if you are going to be using more than 50 watts, get a relay they are only like <=8 bucks after you get the relay and the harness. i saw some reverse lights that go in the trailer hitch i thought about getting, they are around 85 bucks shipped

Those are a good idea, but they wont work for me for a few reasons.

First of all, they would get in the way of the tow chains, second of all, they are made of plastic, and probably still get broken off, finally, there are 2 55 Watt lights, which is more than the back up circuit can handle.

The last problem might be changed because I might just run them off a relay that is triggered by the reverse circuit so I can run some bigger lights off of my light bar.
