You can absolutely turn it up now. I use 50 for tuning. You can absolutely turn up the frequency now to give it a little higher range.

Yes, the Pioneer 63hz is the perfect setting, IMO.

My Kenwood's lowest setting is 80 for a sub.... stupid, huh?

It's a good deck - lots of features. But sub crossover leaves some to be desired.
