I had a 00 2wd and mine was on i wss told that the sensor on the rear axle goes bad cause it gets mud and all that on it. But there like $20 it fixed my problem. Like a 5 min job. Theres one bolt and i think its a 8mm but not sure cause its been a couple years since i did it.

My guess would either be the speed sensor on the rear diff or a bad wheel speed sensor.

Take it to a shop and have them scan the abs light. Around here they charge 25 dollars to do it. Ur abs light is like a check engine light but it takes a more advanced scanner to read it. no auto parts store scanner where they do it for free will be able to do it. U will have to find a shop that can do it for u. To me it's worth it cause it can point you in the right direction vrs playing a guessing game.

You can do a basic test of each speed sensor with a digital volt meter.A paperclip can be used to probe into the connector. Set the meter to AC mv. Rotate the wheel while watching the meter. Voltage should increase as the speed increases. For the rear sensor you'll need to put the rear axle on stands and run engine with trans in D.

99% of the time it could be a speed sensor due to a bad wheel hub
