Yah. I've seen tons of threads saying the 3v is horrible. Cam phaser issues and other things.

Yupp and sparkplugs . No offense but if u put a 3v in yours that's gonna be the biggest mistake you ever done with your truck.

It will be extremely hard and expensive.

Are you bored and just spit balling ideas or do you actually plan to go through with something?

How much money do you have to burn? I can find some mods that you can do that will actually be beneficial and not out of this world to do.

You'd probably be better to swap it out with an 03' 5.4 with the pi heads. I'm not sure what year they started but I'm pretty sure the 2000 model year doesn't have them.

Not worth it at all. When (if) your engine goes, replace it with a 2v as you'll be further ahead and wont kill your resale value.
