Default Zip ties

Looking under the truck at the muffler shop and noticed that the drive shaft has zip ties on it.

My question is that did the factory put these on?

Do the have a long tail still on them? Sounds like someone was trying to play a joke on you. We have done this at the fire station to many a vehicles, you place the zip tie on with a long tail and as the driveshaft turns it makes a horrible noise that takes awhile to find.

Are they holding something onto the shaft, or just zipped on tight?

Get the big thick ones and enjoy the look of "what the hell is that?" if it spins right when they stop he wont see it right off either.
