Default window help

the other day i went through the car wash and i put the passenger door window down to fold the mirror back out, it rolled down about a quarter of the way then my brother pushed the mirror back out then i tried to put the window back up and it wouldnt roll up,.....before that the passenger door switch wouldnt move the passenger window but the driver switch would it seems like now neither are working.... any way to pin down the actual problem and get it back in business

My guess is something with the motor/regulater. Is the window stuck half way down or did it slide down, or can you slide it up?

the motor and regulator are basically the same thing. The regulator is the frame that slides up and down and holds the window, and the motor is the motors. If the window was stuck in place, i'd guess its the motor not a part on the regulator. Not sure if you can buy one without the other from ford, but I'm sure you could at a junk yard or something.

just had the same thing happen to me, there wasn't much price difference in just buying the regulator and buying the regulator and the motor. replaced them and the window rolls up faster than ever
