Default What the hell...

Well...I just turned over 65k on my 05 screw king ranch, and it has been a pretty good haul this far with no issues, I went to pass a car today and however it was not so good, truck started to stumble on wot, and the engine light started to flash, after passing the car, I returned to normal speeds and the light went off an normal again, I tried to replicate it by kicking it in the *** from 55 and got up to 80 with no sputter. It's done this before but has never really concerned me as it hasn't been a safety issue like today. I have replaced the fuel filter 2 months ago, replaced plugs, and maintain the truck very well. Any idea? There isn't a solid light, so I am thinking I won't have a code to scan, correct?

Help guys' I need to get the ole girl driving right !

A flashing CEL is telling you... you have a mis-fire condition...check the COP's...also you may want to check you cats and FPDM...these could cause issues also.

X2 ^^ Also if you havent done your plugs yet you might consider that too. I know 65K isnt alot but when I did mine at 75K a couple of them were worn pretty good.

COP is coil on plug and I think you are meaning FPDM which is the fuel pump driver module

Mine did the same thing and it ended up being a coil.
