i want to run mid 14's at the drag strip with only bolt ons....i went last year and ran a 16.4 in the quarter......here is my current set up and am willing to change it all up..........i have the air-aid cold air intake, i have air raid throttle body spacer, the edge evolution programmer, and an exhaust....dont member brand of muffler, i think its got the stock 3:55 gear ratio in the rear and i was running my stock 20inch wheels with 275/55/r20 pirreli tires and yes it is a 2wd sport edition with the 5 1/2 ft bed.........what do you guys suggest i do and i dont want to run a supercharger, turbo, or nitrous

How about buying a vehicle that was meant to drag race? Like say...oh idk...a sports car?

You will need to bolt on a blower or do significant engine work.

Pray. lol Let us know what you come up with! Also, look into an electric exhaust dump so you can run wide open at the drag. Might help a little.

hey is this a bashing site or a site to help one another...i mean come on......i just want to beat some chevy's and gmc's that are around here saying fords are junk and have been a ford guy my entire life but never really got into to it but i want to prove a point to these guys that fords can defend themselves against their 5.3's and 6.0's and i know the new ford trucks are coming out with some amazing motors but i dont have the catch to buy a new truck...so i got to do with what i got

Show them where it's at where trucks were made to compete...off road and pulling.

Drag racing is not what trucks were made to do. If the chevy and GMC guys think their cool because they can punch the gas and go in a straight line, more power to them. Leave them alone.

No one has bashed you yet. Calm down and listen instead of getting defensive.

i have an 04 ford that i beat most chevy's up the hill at the dunes....now i want to do it on the strip is that to much to ask for and i know what you mean but we like to race trucks to each their own...if you not gonna be helpful than dont post on my thread bud thats all i ask

You asked an impossible question. The likelihood of you shaving off 2 seconds with the few bolt ons that are left is remote. You'll need to get into head/cam work at the bare minimum (and that's probably not enough).

Check out FatherFord on here. He's draggin his truck all the time. HE'll probably have some pretty good direction for ya. Just most guys on here are more for 4X4, not speed. But there are a few on here. Best of luck bud.
