Well a little update for everyone.....I have since changed up my set up.....went to the drag strip and had a great day......I cut a total second of my time from last year.....I did change my set up this time....here were my new mods......pacesetter long tube headers with a full 3 inch single exhaust with deleted cats, air force one 3.5 inch CAI, Troyer performance electric fans and a custom tune from amazon tuning solutions, same 3.55 gears, and ran my dads stock 17 inch rims and tires and took out my spare tire.....I was running 15.5s all day long.....now I think with a 80mm bbk throttle body, Troyer performance under drive pullies and some ford racing 4.10 gears and also some more tuning I think I can get the truck into the high 14's...then next year comes the blower wether it be a saleen or whipple.....so I think I'm well on my way to mid 14 then soon 13s or 12s

Good s*** bro!

Get some slicks, bolt on some cams, get that bigger throttle body, maybe some caltracs for your truck(not tooo sure if they are available for our trucks) & those 410s, & you'll definetely be in the 14s for sure.. Might be mid2high 14s, but you'll be there fa sho!...

Round my city, these are plenty of Harleys running 11-13s & even one running LOW 10s.. It can be done!

idk if you guys have thought about this but ford dose make the ford lighting, so ford is say hey this is a truck but its bad a** a 5.4 with sc. so anyone who says that these trucks aren't for speed think again. just because some guys buy a truck and keep it stock use it for work or even just to go from point a to b docent mean that others can achieve better. an treads shouldn't have people putting people down if you don't like it don't read it don't comment, whats so hard about that? just don't waist your time? and seeing as im also doing the same thing (adding a wipe sc ect..) dosnr make me a bad guy? just my two bits
and the best of luck to you

I would go even higher than 4.10's if your strictly trying to get your quarter time down.

What are you trying to get out of this? Just drag strip performance and off the red light acceleration? You can buy an old hot hatchback, like a focus or a gti, for cheaper, have more fun driving it, and still keep your truck for the "truck stuff." Then you can get new friends that dont boast about chevy's or hemi's stock performance, and you would be able to get around corners at speed. Just invest the money in a 6" lift and 35s and have a big, badass truck.

My truck ran in 19.6 last weekend but I had fun poking down the track lol. And trucks can go fast. My cousin has a 05 F350 super crew long bed running 12.1. Of course we just got done changing both his head gaskets and putting apr head studs in it last week. 6.0s are bitch to work on.

Then you can look like every other F-150 out there and you can post the 1 millionth thread on this site "pics of my lifted F150". Just wish I could I understand why lifting your truck and putting big *** tires on it makes it badass. Its still a sloooow *** truck. Now lifted and boosted would be badass. But just lifting a truck dosen't make it badass imo. Hell I see these ghetto (80's model Impala's and Buicks) running around lifted with huge tires. They're not badass either lmao!

simple no cost upgrade, lose weight, rip out things you don't need, spare tire, Bedliner, plastic windows, rip out seats, etc.
