update on the motor

Default update on the motor

so today i finally was able to get the motor out tho the cherry picker was to low so we had to use our tractor lol

so once i got it on our engine stand i pulled valve covers and oil pan i noticed on the bottom of the oil pan there were ALOT of metal shavings with leads me to think is i lost a ring or several but i wont know until i pull the heads off.. witch i hope is some time this week


so in the next post i will include some pics from today

i was thinking about getting a set, but im just going to get the edge for now. especially the price that im getting it for it is almost a must have.

yea i was thinking if i get the cams its no big deal to put in because the motor is out then when the truck is ready to run i just have it towed to the dyno tuner and have it all set up for headers and cams with the supercharger
