What are you trying to accomplish?

What all you have on your truck? Model year, engine, tranny, diffy gears, aftermarket equipment.

I look at a vehicle figuring oodles of dollars of engineering have gone into putting things where they are within the given budget in order to achieve the all-around best performance toward the identified goals.

If you wish additional performance, either going to sacrifice in some areas such as longevity, or are going to spend more dollars than Ford was willing to.

overdrives would be used on a supercharged application. Underdrives would be used on an N/A application and Im not very fond of them, the pullies I had on my car were murder on the electrical system, put the money into a tune instead.
