But I do know that every 2 or 3 weeks, they clean out there inventory and replace it with ALL different cars. I guess they don't want the same cars there week in and week out so they switch cars/trucks from one location to another.

Here is there website, if you haven't found it already:

Good Luck!
Thanks man.
Yeah I found the site and have talked to 2 people from there. One said that its a suspension lift and that the bed is scratched and the tailgate and rear bumper are in fact dented. Also no service records and he was going to "check" on the transmission and transfer case.

Hell Brandon, idk I always used KBB. I did NADA vs KBB on my truck right now. $8,900 is KBB in excellent condition to where NADA had it at $12,000. Around here I know there is no dealership in town that is going to give me $12,000 for it. I only bought it at $13,000 when it had 76,000 miles on it so I think KBB is a lot more accurate in my case. From what everybody else is saying that the truck at the dealer is high so.

I recommend using edmunds to gauge how good of a deal you are getting after you haggle. KBB should give you a good starting point (if they're asking more, it'll be harder to get an "average" deal after negotiation). NADA is about useless except for getting loan values IMHO.
I know you are a long ways from the dealer. Take the truck to an independent garage and have it looked over. It will be WORTH IT to pay a couple bucks if they have any initial major findings. It's a crap shoot buying a used vehicle. I took a 7 year old car off an independent lot to my mechanic and I got a whole new exhaust system installed for the same price I had negotiated. You may have to put that stipulation in your offer. Find a garage, check the BBB and make an appointment. Check the lot on the BBB too. Good luck, besides you can always remind the dealer that the truck is no longer a stock vehicle and that takes away from the resale value. (for whatever that is worth)

Looks like this one has had the interior redone, in a lighter color leather.

Do you guys have kids? A scab is fine for a childless couple, and probably won't be too bad with young kids, but the backseat isn't comfortable for frequent teen or adult passengers.

Test drive a scab and park in a crowded parking lot and test out getting out of the back doors.

You'll normally gain the 6.5' bed with the scab (most screws come with the 5.5').

same as before, get a mechanic that you trust to take a look. I do like both trucks better than the first only for the simple reason they have tons of pictures, The white one seems like the rear is lower than the front in the one picture.

I still think they are little high but thats power of negations.

Yes we have my daughter which is 4, my wifes daughter who is about a year old and our son will be born in febuary. We are also wanting another one later on...which is why I am looking for a bench more so than the captains seats. Want to keep this thing til it literally falls apart and takes more money to replace stuff than to buy a newer truck later on

Just found this one...seems like a good deal to me except the miles. KBB is $17 with a trade in value of $11. I would make them get a replacement denter cap for the back wheel too

Have a buddy that works here and says that this is a great truck. He said it could use a little buff to get a few surface scratches out. The shop spent $500 on stuff. Said suspension, brakes, and tires are in good shape. No shimmy/shakes, no wind noise or squeks. Said he could go to $18000 but not to much haggle room after that...although he doesn't get to sell many ford trucks since its a gmc dealer so that could play into my advantage. Also it is a 06 with under 100K miles...so it might be less prone to the cam phaser issue

http://www.wkchevy.com/VehicleDetails/788452543

KBB is $18K for it with trade in $13K

Cam phaser TSB is limited to 04-05.
