like gator said about the spark plugs. Also do they have all the service records? Interested in when the tranny was last serviced. Check out the 4x4 make sure it works correctly usually the IWE solenoids go. Check the front end specially the wheel bearings. Also did they leave the 3.73 gears in it or did it get upgrade to 4.10's

I bluebooked my truck same 2004 FX4 except mine is leather and not the crew cab but the supercab. infact my milage just hit 116,000 valued at $8,500 and mine don't have all those scratches everywhere.

I wouldn't offer anything over $10,500. Or I would pass on it all together. Last thing you want is to be upside down in it with everything your saying, and god forbid the tranny takes a dump on you while paying on it.

Wouldnt do it, thats high for an 04 with 115k. Also, did the salesman tell you what kind of lift it is? IMO it looks like a body lift not suspension lift and it has pretty small tires making it look higher than it is, it really doesnt look like it sits much higher than my leveled 4x4. Im also willing to bet body lift instead of suspension because of the way the exhaust looks, with suspension lifts the exhaust moves up as well, with a body lift it does not, just my $.2 but im willing to bet you can find a lifted f150 in better shape for the same price and less miles.

edit: just saw at the bottom it says 6in lift, doesnt look like it to me like I said above it looks like a body lift, I would guess 3 inches or so, looking at the grond clearance it is not the height of a 4wd with 6 inches of lift.

Do you mind if I ask where you are booking yours at? If I go to NADA and book it, then it still says its worth about $17000 with an average trade in of $12300. I use nada because that is what my bank uses for the loan process

Be very careful. I recently bought a "mint condition" 2007 F150 4WD XLT Reg Cab with 93k from a dealer 1,000 miles away as the dealer was a friend of a friend. After spending $11,650, I found it the tranny is gone.

They have several locations in Oklahoma City and Edmond (north of OKC).

But I really don't know too much about them. A guy from my gym bought a F250 from them about a year ago and said they treated him fair, he still has the F250, don't know if he had any mechanical problems with it though.

But I do know that every 2 or 3 weeks, they clean out there inventory and replace it with ALL different cars. I guess they don't want the same cars there week in and week out so they switch cars/trucks from one location to another.

Here is there website, if you haven't found it already:

Good Luck!

You'll look at retail since it's a dealer, but I'd knock some off since it's a stand alone lot and not part of a Dealership.

KBB surveys asking prices
Edmunds surveys selling prices

I recommend using edmunds to gauge how good of a deal you are getting after you haggle. KBB should give you a good starting point (if they're asking more, it'll be harder to get an "average" deal after negotiation). NADA is about useless except for getting loan values IMHO.
