May I suggest, if you're using a trap, don't bother with a havaheart or similar. Just use the squirrelinator.

Just a reminder, I need to change my moth block.

Drove around for the Christmas holiday smelling over-roasted peanuts...

The old woman around the corner feeds the little furry bastids whole peanuts. Instead of eating them, they stash them all over the neighborhood. I find peanuts *everywhere*...in my garage, in our planters (come spring, I have more peanut plants than Jimmy friggin Carter!!).

I guess they stashed one on my manifold where I couldn't see it.

That's the trick Gary..... if you feed them they go elsewhere to hide them ! lol
I feed peanuts and corn to the backyard critters, but never find any of it around here.
But I do find black walnuts from my neighbors tree stashed all over my yard.

Crazy enough, I've never had an engine rodent issue. I suppose the humane method would be baiting and trapping. I have lowered my sun visor and found a spider up there a time or two though

From your neighboring "peanut farmers", thanks a lot, Phil

We've tried to tell her to crack them first, because the squirrels eat them if they're cracked and hide them if they're not...but she doesn't listen to us.

So, Phil, please crack your nuts...

You need to be careful about that, too. Here in PA, there are a lot of regulations concerning trapping and relocating wildlife. Only those with proper licenses can trap and relocate or trap and euthanize.

I live down south out in the country lol.
I do however have wild rabbits. They're everywhere.

well it's likely that the squirrel chewed through the high pressure power steering sensor wire (hopefully that's it) and I'd guess something that is causing my U1950 code...the F150 is due to go in and I'll get a better look when it's up on the lift...fingers crossed this is a small price to pay and the squirrel isn't still searching for a residence...

thanks for your responses...
