I had almost the exact same setup... Put my tires onto the stock rims and the problem went away. It's all about the offset/backspacing. But like said above, you could cut the plastic liner. I bet you are only rubbing a couple inches of it.

Also, if your struts are getting old and tired, you may need to replace them. The original ones are probably sagging a bit so your 2.5" level is actually only a 1.5" level because the springs don't support as well as they used to.

Struts don't hold up the front end...coil springs do...

just did the same level kit and did 35x12.50/18 on mine I had to cut the front and rear splash guard out of the inside of the fender well and also the plastic piece that goes on the bottom of the bumper. Also had to use a ball pean hammer and do a little work on the back corner of the fender just by the door cause it rubbed right there.. if you use a ball pean you can push it in without showing much of what you did..

here are a few pics of what I did.. one you can see that I cut the front of the splash guard. the other you can see how much I cut off the plastic piece on the bumper and the last is the slight body work I had to do..

I had new struts put in when i got the kit installed! thanks for the pictures i already cut some of the front bumper off. just need to work on the back. just didnt know how to go about it. Can you do anything else to raise the front with out getting a 4' or 6' lift? i dont want to go back to stocks and i just bought these tires brand new. Its a 4x4 as well if that helps.

Dumb question, did you get an alignment after you installed the level kit?
