Default Please help

Have a 08 King ranch with the factory pioneer Nav unit. I bought a factory sub for it plugged in to the factory harness and got nothing. Any help would be much appreciated

Howdy.

Best way to learn is to just jump in the deep end.... (and save other folks from endless repetitive typing, lol)....

Do this:

Returns 38 hits. Start reading those fer clues. Fer example - is yer OEM head unit an Audiophile? Did you check the 'Sub Enable' line fer correct voltage? DOA sub/amp?

Good luck!

If it were an Audiophile, it would have a sub already.

Unless it was previously removed - no details if this is a 1-owner truck or not.

Additionally - the 'audiophile' reference in those threads alleges the presence/absence of the required low-pass crossover in those units - so may indeed be a relevant Q. Don't really know - -but worth exploring.

Also - just regurgitating content from some of those links as examples.

May be prudent fer you to do less sniping and more helping ...

I guess its my fault for thinking that a 46000 dollar truck in 08 that i thought had every option available option on it does not in fact have the audiophile sound system in it. back of the radio does in fact have a total of 5 plugs in it. after looking at my factory window sticker it doesn't anywhere say audiophile anywhere

You would definitely want to check for proper voltage at the subwoofer. If that's good I would suggest checking your settings, maybe it's turned off

If there isn't a option in the setting to turn the sub on would that mean I don't have the audiophile setup?
