Please excuse my ignorance but I see these posted all over eBay. Some people in the feedback say it works others are unsure? In my opinion I doubt something like this for the price will actually increase mpg and power. Any opinions or users with this?

Search around and you'll find it's a 2 cent resistor in a box that causes bad a/f ratios. It's a scam. Read here for real programmer devices. There are no "chips" for these trucks.

GARBAGE!!!! If you are looking for a programmer to save fuel, increase performance etc... get something reputable and brand name... you will see alot of threads for programmers here. Hypertech, BULLYDOG, EDGE, etc...

Chips are for salsa. A decent programmer will run you a couple hundred on up.

I'm just curious, where would you hook up the 2 wires to this scam box? What do the resistors do? Do they add a load to the signal on the throttle body or something???

Hypertech and Bullydog in the gas world are bottom of the barrel for their programming strategies. Much better, safer options out there.

Just ran quite a few programmers over the dyno and seen many run in my time. Much safer a/f ratios throughout the powerband and the transmission strategies are more sound with a better programmer. Here's a good explanation from a reputable tuner on the transmission:

They are garbage in the diesel world as well!
