Default No *****

Just got a '06 a week or two ago, and it has no *****. I know there's something going on with the tranny 'cause it likes to jerk around at about 45, and 65. But besides that, it has no *****! Takes forever to get to 60. I'm getting that looked at today.

My last truck was a piece of a 2000 f150. It had some getup and go to it though.

So my 2000 2WD 4.6 was faster than my 2006 4WD 5.4. Seems weird to me.

Is it weird, or is there something i'm missing? I'm pretty new to this stuff.

(No I don't think hanging a pair of metal ones off my trailer hitch would help)

Yeah, that's on my short list. I'm almost at the 100k mark.

I'm trying to decide on whether or not to do the spark plugs myself. Never really worked on a truck before. Maybe I'll see how much my mechanic wants first.

Try this.

I combined this with a transmission TSB reprogram/pcm flash (something like that) and my truck runs sooooo much better.

It was a joke man, but on a serious note. Don't listen to people when they tell you a throttle body spacer is going to help gas milage or response. The only thing that chunk of metal does is make a cool noise on your intake. (some people like the sound, some dont.) whatever.

If you want something that's going to offer this a true fix, get a programmer. Check our PHP Power hungry performance and if you can cough up 350$ for that piece of *** get it. You won't be disappointed.
