Haha, yeah I figured it had to be a joke once I looked into them. I'm tryin' to get a quiet truck, (minus train horns) so I'll pass on it. Been looking at programmers for a little while not. Still not sure exactly what they do (Seems like everyone on this site already knows), but I'll figure it out eventually.

 

Programmer is the fix for your problem.
Remember its a truck dude.
Its not worth dumping 5 grand for a supercharger.
Might as well go out and buy a gt and use that as your moneypit.

 

I would have to disagree. I have my truck to tow loads typically 5000lbs and she runs 12's at the strip. Will be mid 12's here shortly.

Yep 12.97 on 9.5psi. I have the power to run a 12.7 just haven't quite got the suspension dialed in.

 

Custom Tune, Gott's, and Dual Exhaust. This will give your truck *****, but as far as your problem I'm not sure. Just playing no *****!

Alrighty... so I have a misfiring cylinder. I guess we'll see how it goes after that. I thought Gotts mod was bad for 04-08. I'll have to look into it more I guess.

Time to search for tuners.. seems like that's the best bang for your buck. Everyone has one.

 

Gott's= Good
CAI= Bad

This only applies to 04-05 really and maybe some 06s. Otherwise the lean condition won't be an issue especially to those who have 07s and 08s.

 

What applies to the 04-05? That Gotts=good, CAI=bad, or that Gotts is bad?

Mine is an '06, so i'm in the middle.
