exactly! its funny how before all this gas fiasco went down, CAI companies and programer companies boasted just horsepower and torque gains, now these same products save all kinds of gas?????? haha humorous
I say if you wanna save gas, use common sense, keep your foot out of it. Or you can lower your truck, put a ferrari front end, change your tires and wheels to a 3 inch wide funny car style setup for wind resistance, pull all your interior out, remove the bed, and unplug 4 of the 8 coil packs

Just tryin thats all...seems there are two sides to be on here...dont give a sh*t about gas mileage, or trying everything to help gas mileage. i wasnt familiar with this product and thought it was worth a try thats all...i dont have the $$ to try all the other stuff some guys are doing so that was the end of my experimenting...like i said before, i just coast from light to light and seems to help a lot...not in a hurry anyway.

Not to rain on anyones parade, but surely we didn't buy a truck expecting decent mileage. I went into my truck knowing full well it was going to eat gas. But then again... I also came from a 1982 oldsmobile that was getting single digits.

Do performance mods because you want extra performance and drivability out of your truck and you won't be dissappointed. I have the big 3 performance mods (CAI, exhaust & tuner) and couldn't be happier with the results, but I didn't go into it thinking I'll do it for the mpg's I'll gain.
Could not have stated that any better; although the aftermarket parts sales have been quoting "Miles per Gallon Savings" quite a bit. I too see no benefit in shelling out over $1k just to save fuel (unless you're a comercial driver)....that money buys a lot of gas.
