I took it to a local spring shop and they installed them in about an hour or so. Definitely worth it. I didn't like the way it looked with the front end slightly higher than the rear. I still wanted the truck to look higher in the rear. It is maybe 3/8"-1/2" higher. Perfect for me.

My truck came with the factory skid plates. This was an option on the Lariat.

If you are looking for level, go within the range of 2"-3". Most trucks I've seen in this range are near perfect, you can't tell too much of a difference. HBS is what I have, but other kits are pretty much the same. It's your preference.

Here was mine with a 3" level and nothing in the back (325/65/18 tires ~35"). I think it was very slightly higher in front than back. I think 2.5" is the way to go. 3" is just that much harder on your front suspension too.
