Leveling Kits
I have a 2007 Lariat 4x4 and i'm lookin to get a leveling kit for it. I am really anal about my trucks front end riding higher than the back. I'm lookin at the 2.5 in from daystar. Will that put my front end up too high? I've also looked at rough country's 2.5 in with the 1 in block and nitro 9000 shocks for the rear. What are your guys opinions??
Thanks, BJ |

I put a 3" on my 2007 XLT 4x4. I think it sits just right. See what you think.

Yep I'm not sure you could get any closer to perfect. Looks great! What size tires are those? I currently have 305/55R20 Cooper Zeon but I think they'll look too small once I level it.

Those are on 18" rims, but they are 305/65R18 BFG All Terrains. They are about a 34" tire......I'm not what that would be for a 20" rim.

C-Dub, thats a great looking stance for you! I have the 2.5 and i was worried I might be a tad nose high when I put it on. I'm just waiting to get the tires installed first.

You can always do the 2.5", and then replace the rear block with a larger one if you're not happy. I recommend Autospring.

As you can see I think everyone has picked something that worked for them that is why it is a hard decision. I went with a 2" Tuff Country kit that was put on by Les Schwab. I too was worried about it not being level but it is hard to say because I have seen so many trucks with different combo's that looked perfectly level. A lot of people went with the 2.5" HBS plus it only costs around $70. Here is pic of mine with only a 2" kit. Good luck and post some pic's when you have it all set up.

Thank you. I was definitely happy with the way it turned out. I only wish I had been able to afford some slightly wider after market rims.
