Default Kind of need input

Okay I 2006 F150 Lariat with 97k I have replaced the spark plugs within the last 8k miles. A few days ago I put a spectre cold air intake left out the restrictor. I have an edge evolution that I recently turned up to level 3. Timing ia left alone, minor changes in other parts of it. Well I have driven it for maybe 50 miles and then all of a sudden the idle went to hell extremly rough feels like missfire. I was running 85 octane but due to switching it to level three I added octane booster and topped off with 91. No check engine light just a rough idle, could my coil packa be going out? Or maybe octane booster is causing it im unsure...

Mine did this as well with my edge. I returned it to stock, ran it for a night and returned it to level 3. It runs fine now just keep a higher octane in it. Mine was stalling out when I would go to stop or the idle would jump around. I hope this helps.

Yeah nothing changed and I was not driving harsh but as soon as i pulled up to my street in front of my house it started shaking rough. It is 7am here now I can check it out after I get up later ( I just got off work) might replace the fuel filter and leave the edge stock until I fill up again.

The canned tunes on the Edge Evo aren't programmed for cold air intakes. Either run it on level 3 with 93 all the time, take the CAI off, or get a custom tune for it for your CAI.

If your running a 93 tune you need to run 93 octane gas!

What Evo do you have? Cause my lvl3 runs off Octane 91, and it was a tune mine came with (the Evo CS)
