So does that factory harness I cut out of the truck in the salvage yard... I carefully removed it from plug end to plug end, I did not splice anything on it. I followed it from the aux jack on the dash tray to the radio plug. WTF?

I'm leaning toward that too, in the morning I'm going to the salvage yard and trying out a 08-09 radio.. I will report back on my findings...

seems the pinout is the same for the 04/early 06 to the late 06-08. it must be the radio isnt recognizing the signal being imputed.

here is the 06 pinout for the aux plug

here is the 04

Nope..

I can unplug my Sat radio and plug in the aux jack wire harness from the dash tray direct to the back of the radio and it still wont read it..
