Default Intake Suggestions

Hey guys I have read time and time again on intakes from K&N AEM Airaid all them and I drive a 2006 F-150 with the 5.4L and before I make my decision I really just wanna see what kind of feedback you guys have on them and see who has what and how you like it. So any input would be sweet like I said I just wanna see what you all think about yours if you have one and then I can go from there. Thanks

Unless you are determined to spend money for eye candy under the hood, just do the Gotts mod and spend your money on something more practicle.

You'll want to get a programmer with custom tunes first to keep your truck from running too lean. I had the AEM Brute Force on my toyo. I just the the DWV mod for the f150. It's already a cold air intake.

However, if I were to buy one for my f150 I would go with the Volant with their premium filter.

Didnt you get yours for free raider? or was that another person... idk haha (if you did, then good sales pitch ) I personally like the volant cause its enclosed and not open to the engine bay. I also agree on getting a tuner to go with it.

When I bought this truck i added a K&N panel filter and did something similar to the Gotts mod. Not long after I bought an Airaid setup. Waste of money. Even the G-tech couldn't detect a difference. As someone already said "eye candy". I sold it on ebay and went back to my original setup.

Do the gotts and get a programmer with custom tunes or add a Roushcharger... Those are the 2 best intake mods for the $$$

The Roushcharger is made by Airaid, don't be fooled. The only difference in the two is the aluminum name plate. One has Roush stamped in it and the other has Airaid stamped in it.
