I got my K&N free.... I met an engineer during a bike week event in Daytona and explained I had over 223,000 miles on a K&N filter with my Harley. He was happy to hear it and ovvered me a kit for the truck at no cost.

Had I not gotten the kit for free, I would have done the Gotts mod for free. Same results. Save your money and spend it on other mods.

LOL, yes, I got mine for free- and anyone with an S&B on a 2008 4.6L can thank me (mine was the prototype tester)

LMAO Uhhh, I think we have a failure to communicate here... I wasn't talking about a CAI more of a forced air intake!!!!

This would be the Roushcharger I was referring to:

I'm loving my Spectre 4" intake (i removed the black 3" choker in there too for a full 4"). If you leave the choker in, you don't need to have the truck tuned as I ran with that for a good 2 months. Removing the choker, you will, but if you need help with that, I've already gone through it with my Diablosport Predator http://diablosport.com/index.php?nam...wtopic&t=22618 . Truck's running like a champ!

Custom engraving? Neat! All I have is the S&B part... mine really starts to growl at just above 2k rpms and again at right above 3k... Good to see someone else has this system. I really am happy with mine.

well I work for a website that sells intakes so the gotts mod is out of the question no offense ill be getting it cheap and its for install videos and stuff and im leaning towards the K&N FIPK intake system but the S&B intake looks nice along with the airaid too thats why i wanted some input on different intake systems to see what you all liked. I have an AEM CAI on my 01 focus and i love it i know thats a whole different situation but still AEM has worked great for me. Thanks guys keep the if anybody has any more suggestions let me know like any body have anything more to say about the K&N kits? O and Just for clarity a tuner is will be added in the future. Im thinking an Edge evo tuner and an MBRP s/o exhaust but i will decide on those things later just lookin at intakes now.

My truck came with a K&N drop-in. The Gotts isn't free though. I spent a whopping $3.67 for the pipe coupler!!!!! It's your money.

I kinda wondered if thats what you meant. Still a waste of money. Much better blowers out there for the money.
