Default HELP! Bogging Down and To much Gas

2004 F150 FX4 5.4.
The truck takes off fine sometimes and sometimes it starts sounding like it is flooding. Boggs down and eventually will throw the wrench light and shut off. Had it checked at Autozone and it says Accelerator Pedal and Throttel Control. But I have already tried another pedal assembly and a whole Throttel body and sensors. So here is what else I have done:
Replaced all Plugs
Replaced all Coil packs
Replaced Camphasers
Timing Chains
Tentioners
VCT's
Fuel Filter
Fuel Pump Driver Module

I can smell some gas through the vents sometimes also. If I drive 80mph It will go and feel rough but if I slow down it will shut off Accelerator and will not be responsive.

I hope someone here has experienced this before. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Re-torque your spark plugs to 25 ft pounds.

You may have to replace your accelerator pedal assembly of the sensor went bad, they are known to go bad on the early 04 F150s and the throttle body has issues too. I had to replace mine on my early build 07

^exactly, retorque the spark plugs, fuel smell in the cab, usually an easy fix of torquing the spark plugs to the proper amount.

Never heard of this as an issue. Can you elaborate on this?

You all hit on the head. One of the plugs had came loose. After re-torque it smoothed out and ran much better.
Once after it did it agian after I accelerated quickly and once it started to slow back down the wrench light came back on and the accelerator had no response. I pull over and engine continues to idle smooth and sounds great. Put it in park and try to give it some gas and nothing. I then shut off truck, restart and take off like nothing ever happened. If I can ever get past this issue she will be a nice truck for a long time.
Could Cat's cause this? Just before it throws the wrench light on it souuds like it starts to bogg down slightly.

I have another 2004 F150 that the Throttle body went bad on and had to replace. I can not remember the code but it listed it as a Throttle body faulty. As far as the accelerator pedal assembly I have never heard of them going bad before.
Did you have one go bad? Did it act like how I have discribed this later reply? I tried the pedal assembly off my other truck but it has one digit off and acted the same as this one. Those things aren't cheap! lol
