Probably just plain steel. Which isnt a big deal, but they rust and look like hell, even with good paint. Expect to change them in 4-5 years from rusting out.

At this rate I won't have the truck that long. And I'll prolly have them powder coated before hand, in 4-5 years the truck will have around 250-300 on it I'll prolly trade it or sell it before then.

Pacesetter offers ceramic coated ones for about $450. From what i hear powder coating done right will run you about the same and the ceramic is supposed to be better. Their in my gotta have list.

I got a guy that does race car frames and he's pretty reasonable on wheels so I would guess he's reasonable on headers as well. I prolly won't ceramic coat them just maybe ford blue high temp of course. Or if I knew a good chrome place get them chromed.

Got that right brother, hit the nail on the head. Now you just have to switch from riding Gixxers to R1s and CBRs.

Stainless Works for the win. If you're going to go through the effort of purchasing them, having them ceramic coated and then selling the truck some time down the road you may as well just keep it stock. It is such a bitch to install these things, even just getting the original manifolds out requires flexibility of a pornstar. Coating an average grade metal is no substitute for having a high quality metal in the first place.
