My guess is no, as they are steel. But like I mentioned, I work for a coating company, we do coatings that prevent corrosion. The ceramic based coatings are also bad *** for chemical corrosion as well. If you look in my build thread there is a bunch of stuff I got coated.

I am still noodling between the sst or steel headers. Part of me says do stainless.

Reading all of this makes me wonder if the people at the ford dealership by me know anything. They told me headers would do nothing but make me lose power unless I was pushing 650+ HP

There are a lot of mis-guided mechanics out there.

Looking for the headers for my truck and the Y pipe:
Y-pipe=PN 82-1156 $130/shipped from
Amazon Amazon

Headers: PN 70-2229 $230/shipped form
Amazon Amazon

$360 total.

I'm assuming with adding headers, you are gaining HP along with a "better" or a bit more aggressive sounding exhaust am I correct? Combined with true dual exhaust, the gains would be even greater?

Thats correct. Adding an x-pipe where the y is also helps to improve scavaging
