Yes, you can. There are 4 companies off the top of my head that make them for 4x4. My truck is also 4x4 and has headers...

Please spend some time searching.

Scobar....

How have your pacesetters been holding up? Did they fit well? Are they rusting out already?

They are fine. Install was OK. I needed to grind down the bell housing on the pass side, and remove the trans dip stick, ended up just getting hostile and ramming them in there. They do not have any rust on them. They are cheap steal headers so it may still be a "when" they need to be replaced. Truck spends more time in the garage though.

No rust, brought them to work and had 2 ceramic-based high temp coatings applied.

First coat was insulkote which is a barrier coating, and top coat was mcx and then polished. Total film build approx 4 mills. These should be good for 1600+ all day long.

If you check my build thread you can see some more of the other things I've gotten coated

When you removed the Trans dip stick did you put it back in its original location? Without modification?

When you ground down the bell housing, how much did you take off? Could you have just dented the pipe or collector in rather then grinding? Or was it too close to the end of the collector?

Did you have your cats welded? Clamped? Or flanged and bolted?

I was thinking of going with the OBX kit since I hear they fit well, plus they are supposedly dynatech knockoffs.

How much did you pay for the pacesetter LT's and Y pipe?

What size inlet and outlet were your cats?

How did the power difference "feel" before and after getting tuned for the headers? Night and day?

Thanks for the experienced info man!

It was difficult but yes, I was able to get the dip stick back in. I don't know if i tweaked it or not, but got some droplets on my garage floor after re-installing. I cleaned it up and put a dab of rtv around it with my finger.

On the bell housing, i basically smoothed out the leading edge around the starter area. Nothing too extreme.

I have not cats currently, saving pennies to get some high flows and new exhaust put on.(too loud and smelly)

I'd like to know more about the OBX quality, over the years you hear about a lot of cracking which has me run.

I think it was like $330 for the headers and y pipe.

I did the headers at the same time as the blower and pulley. Yes, I noticed a difference

Yeah, I know what you mean! I have anxiety just thinking about the install, 18 hours, damn! Back in college I put headers on my RSX and promised myself to never do headers again, that's was 8 hours of headaches.
