Ahh I See... Good eye on that one, there just resonators I guess..
I could probably still salvage that Y pipe, and weld my own cat on the bend with the cat attached. The deal doesn't look as great, but it still looks damn good for mandrel bends with long headers included.. Shipping is free too.

Couldn't you bolt the stock cats up to the LTs?

Before I bought my pacesetters I did a ton of research. Had I not bought my blower I would have bought the stainless works headers with cats.

No. They go up towards the manifold vs. long tubes exit where the cats exited. You would also have a 3" header collector vs. 2.25" cat. You could prob make it work but it would not be efficient or pretty.

Cats need to be close to the motor, they need heat.

Magnaflow makes some high flow cats that run about 100 bucks a pop.

No, because my stock front cats are the 45 degree bend style. So the cats would turn upward if I bolted them up to the horizontal collector. I could easily bolt 2 hi flows up, and connect them to the L bend and Y pipe on that OBX kit. I'd just have to cut the drivers side resonator off of that OBX kit.
I've found an even cheaper deal for $520 shipped too!

I've been referring to this thread for my header search. I would definitely prefer the stainless works kit, but its pricey... Over 2k for headers with thermal coating, or $1500 for raw from stainless works is a bit too much for my taste.

That's good to know. Why do they only lost them fitting 2wd drive? Is something in the way on the 4wd? May sound stupid but I was wondering. That's a good deal for dyna tech. Everywhere I found them they were about 1500 buck. I only want headers and cats myself everything else is just a waste becuase I want a custom set up.

On 4wd you have front axle and transfer case.

I had gotten my headers coated for nothing, so went with the pacesetters and brought them to work

The deal is not bad.

Those are resonators, not cats.

Stainless Works and American Racing Headers are the best options to go with. OBX is a knock off brand, made of Chinese 304 stainless, while decent, they are not on the level of the others (Fit is off, flanges are mild steel). Pacesetter are made from Mild Steel, so if you go that route, you must get the coated ones or plan to do the install again in 2 years.
