Default HBS leveling kit (problem?)

I just installed 2.5" spacers on my '06 SCREW. I'm not having problems, but whenever I hit bumps something just doesn't sound right. I'm not sure if it is the strut (112k miles on them) or if something is knocking together or what. I wasn't able to torque everything back to 100% specs because I couldn't fit my torque wrench in some spacer. When I take it to get aligned tomorrow, I'm going to see if they can torque everything back to specs. Has anybody had any problems or weird noises after personally installing a leveling kit?

Even if its not the struts, with that many miles, I'm sure they are past due for a change.

If its a clanking sound every time you hit a bump, like what you hear when pulling a trailer, mine did the same thing. It turned out to be the sway bar link. I got two new ones for around $80 from Autozone. The way I checked was I got under the truck and pushed up to rock it, you should see the bolt hitting the bottom arm.

Hmm I will have to get under it and look...When I installed it, the upper control arm was basically against the coil spring until the truck sat on the tires.

Ok, I just got a call from HBS about the problem. They said when I get it aligned it should alleviate the problem. If that doesnt work, she said getting a smaller spacer will reduce the angle.

Change the struts before you take it in for an alignment. You will have to take it apart all over again. Then buy a torque wrench/sockets that will do the job. I align my vehicles after a strut change anyhow. Yes, check those sway bar links too. (When I say struts I mean the spring too, some companies sell the whole assembly, not just the shock cartridge.)

Really kind of a crappy answer. We will sell you/replace your kit with a smaller one. HBS should know what they are talking about.
